Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Chief Medical Officer Dr. Maria Padin is one of 18 women from 15 health-care organizations selected for the Carol Emmott Fellowship, a one-of-a-kind program for accomplished professionals who have demonstrated potential to ascend to senior-executive and board-level roles.
Padin was named chief medical officer of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in November 2015. In this role, Padin focuses on clinical and physician-related responsibilities specific to the academic medical center. She joined Dartmouth-Hitchcock Concord in 1997 in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Padin earned her medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maine Medical Center. She lives in Grantham, New Hampshire.
