Brenda Frank was recently chosen as the new president and CEO of Yankee Farm Credit.
Frank will start on Oct. 1 as president- and CEO-elect, taking on the full duties on Jan. 1. She replaces retiring president and CEO George Putnam.
During her 10 years working at Farm Credit Canada, Frank managed the commercial lending and point-of-sale finance functions for the Western Provinces of Canada.
Frank’s 27 years of experience in agriculture started with managing the family farm in central Minnesota. She later led a team of grain marketers and agronomy specialists at Cargill in Minnesota and South Dakota, prior to moving to Canada.
Frank has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science from the University of Minnesota.
