Vermont Mortgage Company opens

Provided. Longtime broker Nick Parent

Mortgage broker Nick Parent recently launched his new business, Vermont Mortgage Company, in Burlington, where he opened an office at 77 College Street.
Parent brings 10 years of broker experience and more than 1,000 transactions to the business.
Vermont Mortgage Company (VMC), which also has an office in Peru, Vermont, works with individuals and families seeking residential mortgages, refinancing of existing mortgages, and investment property financing throughout Vermont. Their objective is to be the lifelong mortgage planner for all equity and home-purchase needs.
“I have a great team working with me, and we’re so excited to partner with clients to realize their dreams of home ownership,” Parent stated. A licensed broker, Parent is joined by Rebecca Williams, mortgage broker, and Melissa George, mortgage loan processor. They work with a variety of local and national lenders, which gives them access to a broader range of mortgage programs than banks or credit unions will have.
Vermont Mortgage Company offers an array of options to serve home financing needs. Loan programs include conventional financing, FHA, USDA RD, VA, Jumbo and portfolio loan options. Prospective home owners – or those seeking to refinance their home – can take advantage of VMC’s experience and their relationships with local and national lenders. Perhaps most importantly, VMC can custom-tailor a Vermont mortgage that fits within a customer’s financial plan, now and in the future.
VMC serves as a liaison between their client and the lender and by offering expert guidance to clients throughout the entire home buying process.
